CCIE (運營商方向） 運營商CCIE認證意味著從業(yè)人士對IP原理及核心技術擁有權威級知識體系。整個知識體系有遠程接入方向， 比如撥號、DSL、有線網(wǎng)絡；傳輸方向，比如光通信、SDH、SONET；廣域網(wǎng)絡交換，比如:ATM、VoIP、 內容網(wǎng)絡及城域以太網(wǎng)。參加此項認證的考生必須對官方考試大綱有深入理解。

認證所需 CCIE ISP考試無需其它證書做為前提，任何有意了解互聯(lián)網(wǎng)架構的個人都可以參加 CCIE ISP認證考試 ..

CCIE ISP認證考試分為以兩個組成部分:
1. CCIE ISP 筆試（），2小時考試時間
2. CCIE ISP Lab 考試，8小時的實驗考試時間

任何方向的CCIE有有效期為2年，屆時參加任何一方向的CCIE筆試便可以激活！ 其中筆試稱為ualification Exam,即資格考試，意味著必須先通過筆試部分的考試才能參加第2部分的Lab考試。筆試部分思科是委托國際電子考試中心VUE統(tǒng)一考試，目前*大多數(shù)都有VUE考場，所以基本可以本地預約完成考試。而實驗部分，目前思科在全球有13個考場。*在北京和香港的思科分部都有CCIE Lab考場。
